Reports

Beyond each module’s own built-in reports (like Accounting’s Financial Reports), Orbit has a general-purpose Report Builder for building custom reports against your own data without needing a developer.

Building a report

1. Pick a data source — the underlying record type to report on (e.g. Sales Orders, Inventory, CRM records).
2. Filter — narrow down which records are included.
3. Aggregate — group and summarize (sums, counts, and similar) rather than listing every raw row.
4. Chart — visualize the result (bar chart and other chart types), or view it as a table.

Saved reports

A built report is saved and reusable — rerun it later against current data instead of rebuilding the filters and aggregations from scratch each time.
