What is Orbit

Orbit is a business platform, not a bundle of separate apps. Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory & Warehouse, CRM, Manufacturing, HR & Payroll, Assets, POS, and more all run on one login, one permissions model, and one shared data model — so a sales order, an invoice, and the stock movement it creates are three views of the same record, not three systems you have to keep in sync by hand.

Orbit is Kuzium’s first product, built on Kuzium’s own foundation rather than a one-off. Future Kuzium products start from that same base instead of a blank slate.

In a typical stack, your accounting software, your CRM, and your inventory system are three different products from three different vendors, glued together with exports, imports, and integration middleware that drifts out of sync. In Orbit:

  • A Sales Order, once fulfilled, becomes the same Sales Invoice that drives your Accounts Receivable aging — not a separate record you have to reconcile.
  • A Purchase Order’s goods receipt posts a real stock transaction against your warehouse balances and a real GL entry against your chart of accounts, in the same step.
  • A CRM Opportunity, an Approval, a Reminder, or a Chat thread can all attach to any record in the system — the same components work the same way everywhere, not a special case per module.

Orbit Cloud and Orbit Self-Hosted are the same product — same modules, same code, same functionality. Nothing is held back for whichever way you choose to run it; the only difference is where the containers run. See Cloud vs. self-hosted for the tradeoffs, or jump straight to Create an account or the self-hosted installation guide.
